OOTD: Coated Skinnies + Striped Knits

I attended a housewarming this weekend.  One of my oldest friends recently fulfilled a life long dream of owning a home, and moving in with her own family.  It was really one of the nicest afternoons I'd spent lately, because the house was teeming with love and happiness.  It was so sweet.  My new camera lens came in and I took some test shots of her with her husband and her boys.  Then of course, turned the camera on me to capture this easy outfit.

I wore coated teal skinnies with an oversized loose top from Splendid ($26 version here). I almost wore booties but I really wanted this to be a no-fuss outfit and my feet hurt (how old am I?)

I am loving how manageable the glossing treatment from Chroma Studio has made my hair. :)

OOTD: Laid back in a French Slogan Tee & Seven for All Mankind

This weekend was a no heels and a messy side-braid kind of weekend.  I was laid-back chic (just coined that one)  in ballet pink skinny jeans and a je t'aime logo tee by Juicy Couture (previously worn here with my Conversation Pieces striped skirt).
Wore this outfit to grab pizza with my honey in the Gables.  The weather's still great and I've successfully avoided any Ultra-related traffic or insanity!

The color of these jeans is perfectly pale, pink.  I recommend these specifically because they're so worn in and soft; they're perfect right from the store.  The Seven for All Mankind Slim Cigarette jean runs true to size, but the holes and distressing varies from pair to pair.

OOTD: Seven for All Mankind White Jeans + DVF Nettine Jacket

Hi!
If you follow me on Facebook and Twitter (and you shouullllddd) then you may have already seen these Instagram (@TheFashionableESQ) shots of my Friday night outfit last week.  I am not that active on Instagram but I'm trying!

I recently bought these jeans and I am so happy with them.  I am pretty loyal to Seven's b/c they fit me the best; these are no exception.  I've been wearing them for years. This pair runs bit long, but that's OK b/c I love my heels. I hunted for a while for the perfect pair, like my fellow style blogger,  Amber did, for her white jeans.

I paired the black top with this Zara shimmery wrap before I settled on the
DVF jacket.

Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC + DVF Nettine Jacket + South Florida January

Good morning! Happy Friday! I'm so excited for the weekend.  No particular plans but this just seemed like the longest week. I'm feeling under the weather but nothing like Friday to help out with that.  We're about to get ready to go into February, and I've got a giveaway lined up with my Stella & Dot Stylist, Tracy just in time for Valentine's Day.  Get ready!

I've recently gotten a string of new followers and wanted to say hello & thank you.  I'm going to post a lot more frequently this year (so far, so good).  I'm loving the creative outlet that TFE has brought me. My little blog turns ONE on Monday! It's been a really fun year.

Yumi Kim + Zara + Seven + Happy Sunday

Sundays are a reminder that I would like 3 days weekends to be the norm.  Thank you.
Hello, & happy Sunday.
We're being lazy.  Sundays are made for that, right?

Off topic: The Tourist is on TV...how badly do I want every single outfit that Angelina Jolie wears in this movie?!

Rebecca Taylor + Vince + Ebay Steal

The second I got my new Rebecca Taylor jacket in the mail, I loved it and had to wear it.  There's no way that the weather here is even close to jacket ready but you better believe that I put it on anyway, at least for pictures.  I like how the jacket looks with jeans but I also wore it to work over an all black shift and it was adorable.  I snagged the jacket on Ebay for a mere $24.00, brand new, with tags!  By the way -am I slacking on the picture department lately? Garden hoses in the background and ponytails with wet hair, yikes! Haters to the left.

Lima, Peru Part I

I am a terrible packer, I know that you're all aware.  I always miss my closet when I am living out of a suitcase.  I did my best.  Please enjoy some pictures from our recent trip to Lima, Peru.

Lots of colorful shots at every corner.  I really like this one.  Good timing.
