Outfit: Wynwood Walls & Perrier

“Disclosure: Compensation was provided by Perrier via Mode Media.  The opinions expressed herein are those of the author and are not indicative of the opinions or positions of Perrier.”

For this set of pictures, I headed over to the Wynwood Walls in Miami to take a peek at what has been going on there lately.  Every few weeks or so, the building exteriors and wall murals change with a rotating assortment of talent being showcased.  Street art in our city has been elevated to a different level since the inception of the Design District and Wynwood.
In recent years, there has been an incredible surge of life and creative energy in Miami.  Whereas before we used to see buildings "tagged" up with ugly, monochromatic, gang-related symbols and words - we now have meaningful and vibrant street art.

In a few weeks, Art Basel will be upon us, and all of the current street art will change once again.  I'm glad I snapped a few shots in front of this wall of flowers before it's replaced.

Perrier teamed up with three famed street artists from around the world: Kobra from Sao Paolo, JonOne from Paris/New York and Sasu working from Tokyo.  The goal? To create street art labels for limited edition Perrier bottles and cans.  They each designed something that was true to their own aesthetic, and their creations were paired with the Perrier product.

Outfit: How to Wear a Plaid Dress in Miami

Wynwood Artist Luis Valle
How amazing is this wall mural in Wynwood, Miami? A few weeks ago, Nicky Hilton (yep) was in Miami and she posed in front of this gorgeous piece and posted it to her insta. I was so drawn to it that I scouted it out this weekend.  I found it on 25th street, in Wynwood, off of N.W. 2nd avenue.

Outfit: I Would Do Anything For Love + Freshii, Wynwood

I took a few days off from work because I needed a little regrouping time.  And, who wants to forfeit their annual paid leave at the end of the year because they're not allowed to carry a certain number of hours over into the new year? Not this girl!!

This morning I attended a breakfast at Freshii, Wynwood Miami's newest fresh snack and juice bar.  It was hosted by my friend Maria of The Wordy Girl.  I enjoyed some girl time with some of my favorite bloggers while we snacked on goat cheese, veggie and egg wraps, really delicious fruit and granola parfaits and, (my favorite), bacon, egg and cheese wraps.  We tried some fresh juices, too, and while beets aren't my thing, I discovered that apple, cucumbers, kale and spinach are.

After breakfast, I snapped some shots in front of one of the street art murals in Wynwood, Miami.  If anyone knows the artist, please let me know, and I'll credit.
