About: Design Box Interiors is a small home boutique located in Coconut Grove, owned and operated by the ever-fabulous Herbert Parets. Herbie, who also owns an interior design company, wanted to branch out and showcase some of the more colorful + unique pieces he has come across in his design career. The man also has an international eye, noting that the trinkets you'll browse through have come from Thailand, India, Peru, South Africa or your grandmother's attic. Joking about that last part. AND THE USA, of course.
The merchandise ranges from soaps, candles and incense, to Buddah statuettes, amazing acrylic wall art, books, vases, jewelery and jewelry boxes. Larger furniture pieces such as coffee tables and funky tapestried chairs are all hand selected by Herbie for the store.
Prices range from $3 to $2000. Next time you're in the Grove, make sure to stop by and say hello. Tell him I sent you...ok...I had to say that. I couldn't help myself.

ReplyDeleteYes, I knew him back then, and you still hear him talk about his relationship as if it were an opportunity to get out of his boring life in Hialeah with all the other Cubans, so to make something of himself He went after Richard Sherman to get his money to acquire his taste, and once he did that got the store that his sugar daddy bought for him, he sold it and moved to New York to be with another dude. Oh yeah, and I’m pretty sure I don’t know who wrote the comment above. It looks like it was the boyfriend of his sugar, daddy prior to him who he did terrible things to in Order to sever the pond that existed between Richard and his ex. I mean, I remember talking to Herby a year after they’ve Been dating, and he was furious because he learned that Richard has not even told his ex about his existence and so after that, he put his foot down and demanded that Richard no longer talk to the guy and then when he suspected they were still in communication, he pulled this one like ridiculous scheme that would’ve Push most people away from the guy because it was such a lie, but Richard instead chose to overlook it And truly committed to a relationship with this liar that would blow back in his face later on when her be sold that story and took out New York without him getting the money he wanted, all along
