Ted Baker Miami Store Opening + Outfit

A new Ted Baker boutique opened on Lincoln Road, in all of it's retro-chic glory, and I helped inaugurate it as a brand ambassador!
** A big, big THANK YOU to the Ted Baker team and The Patton Group for the opportunity**

Ted Baker Miami Store

The new boutique is located in primo South Beach location - right around the corner from the 1111 garage, on Lincoln Road.  The space is everything you would expect from Ted Baker: sleek and classic while maintaining that bit of a fashion kick and edge.
There's a pretty good sized selection of clothing and accessories in the store.  Fashion forward ladies will find vibrant printed patterns (check out this adorable number, perfect for Miami, or this less modest piece), and the best bodycon dresses and midi skirts.  Men will find perfectly tailored suits, textured blazers and pockets squares with major flair.  The clothes is so on point and completely in line with my style.

I was so happy to be a part of this store opening.  The new spring line is something you guys must check out.

How To Wear Rain Boots featuring Joules

My local girls know that it has not stopped raining in Miami.  It rains every day.  It rains at all hours.  It rains with such force that I see Noah's Ark float by in front of my office window, on occasion.  It has rained for a consecutive 405 days this year.

But...

...I will not let the rain affect my fashion prowess!

Ted Baker, Miami

Hey fashion crowd! A new Ted Baker store is opening on Lincoln road and you're invited to the store launch!
As one of the Ted Baker brand ambassadors, I'd love to have you be my guest for the store launch, on Friday January 16th and Saturday January 17th from 2:00 - 10:00 PM.  The new boutique will be located at 1111 Lincoln Road (yep, that prime location in the already iconic parking garage).

Ted Baker Vadena Dress
I'm wearing the Ted Baker Vadena dress.  It runs a little large and definitely long, despite it being midi length. It's made of a durable material, like neoprene, and it's figure flattering.  It has rose gold hardware and a zipper that runs the entire length of the dress.

Deliver Lean: Delicious, Healthy Food at Your Doorstep

Deliver Lean is a top rated meal delivery service in South Florida that delivers healthy and delicious meals right to your doorstep.  For a limited time, readers of TFE can click here and get three days of free meals when selecting a 4-week meal plan (promotion expires 1/31/15).

Before Deliver Lean sent over their meals, I had never tried an at-home meal delivery service.  I'm so glad I test drove DL, because the food was really satisfying and flavorful.
The meals arrive in an insulated bag, and they're delivered right to your doorstep between midnight and 6:00 AM.  On Tuesday nights and Thursday nights, you leave the cooler bag outside and it is replaced bi-weekly (depending on your meal plan) with a fresh batch of food.
When you sign up, you have the option of selecting six different meal plans including Paleo, Vegan, Traditional, and Vegetarian.  You can list three ingredients/food items that you dislike, so that your meals won't include those things.  Here are some sample meal plans.

I really LOVED my food.  The meals come arranged in small containers that list out what you're eating, how many calories, carbs and grams of fat each meal has.  Depending on the package you select, your meal plan can consist of three meals a day, or just one meal a day.  Deliver Lean also has snacks and cold pressed juices (They work with On Juice, a national, organic, cold-pressed juice brand).  Meals start as low as $8.95 / meal.  DL uses the freshest ingredients, and offers 96 menu items per week

I chose the Paleo plan, and received three meals a day for one week.  I also received a couple of snacks.
I really recommend their food as a way to have a healthy and satisfying meal without the hassle of cooking or going to the grocery store.  For me, the portion sizes were perfect and they tasted really good.  Some of you may even have leftovers from some of the dinner portions.

MEAL BREAKDOWN
Breakfast on Monday was a blueberry and cranberry muffin with 1/2 a pear,  roasted in agave and raspberries. This little treat was addicting.  I didn't finish it, but turns out that was fine because it made the perfect desert later that night:)
Lunch was balsamic marinated chicken with baby zucchini and patty pan squash.  This was delicious. The chicken was really juicy, had grill marks, and great flavor.  The patty pan squash were really good, as well. There was just enough sauce, as seen in the below picture.

Outfit: Nissan Brunch Featuring Blade Glider

Nissan hosted a brunch in Wynwood to show us their new electric concept car: the Nissan BladeGlider.
I had trouble understanding the concept of a concept car. It never actually gets produced on a mass scale and it won't hit the road. It is a model that gets shown to designers, consumers and car enthusiasts, depending on the reaction from the public, certain design elements may later get incorporated into a fully produced car.  This model had cool features, like cutout door panels, which allow you to see the roadway underneath you as you drive the car.   It looks crazy, really sleek and futuristic.  It has a single person cabin inside, meaning, your trophy wife will remain sidelined while you coast down the streets of Miami.  One is a lonely number, folks, but it sure looks good in the BladeGlider.
