I was invited to attend the launch of the new spa "menu." And by menu, I mean skin food and other products and treatments...of which my favorite was the Hydrafacial (which is being offered for $99, for a limited time, regularly $150).
After some champagne, I was given a hydra facial (on my hands). The treatments are tailored to target fine lines / wrinkles, congested and oily, acne prone skin, rosacea and hyper pigmentation. They are recommended for all skin types. This exfoliating and softening procedure is gentle on the skin and leaves it soft and supple. The Viceroy offers Hydrafacials for all areas of the body, but the most commonly requested area is the face and neck.. My friend opted to have one done on her face, and after a few brief moments of redness, her skin was calm and hydrated. The following days saw major skin improvements in overall skin tone and evenness.
Other spa services include manicures ($30), Ultimate Rose Prenatal Massage (50 minutes, $140), Warm Stone Massage (80 minutes, $215), Fire & Ice Detox Body Wrap (80 minutes, $195). Other products you will know and love that are now used at spa are Clarisonic, Eminence, Moroccan Oil, and Valmont.
I wore a dress by Trina Turk which I would normally pair with a nude stiletto sandal but I forgot to bring a change of shoes, and had to go with my traditional black work pumps - no time to go home and change for an after work Friday event - especially with how terrible the traffic in our city has been lately, especially in the Brickell area (#worstcityplanning).
