Fashion's Night Out, September 6, 2012, Miami - Neiman Marcus at the Village of Merrick Park

On Thursday evening, myself as well as hordes of other fashionable ladies around the country gathered at our favorite boutiques, galleries, and designer clothes' havens for Fashion's Night Out 2012.  FNO has become a very popular annual event in the fashion community and FNO in Miami is no exception.  In a city that boasts fashion forward and trendy women, the event has spread to include fetes in all Miami hot-spots, including the Design District, the Shops at Bal Harbour and many, many more.  This years' outting led me to Neiman Marcus at the Village of Merrick Park located in Coral Gables.

The event at the NM store was amazing.  I've never seen the store get so crowded!  Total sensory overload when I walked in.  Everyone was dressed to the nines, enjoying complimentary cocktails and eyeing the latest in Fall Fashion.  And let me tell you - I definitely eyed.  I eyed so much that one of the guys at Fendi told me that I had missed my calling.  Sadly, I think he was right.

It wasn't long before we were escorted down by Maria (thank you!) to our seats which were located semi-front row, for NM's Fall Fashion show.  After a brief intro by Mr. VP Stephen Brunelle (the tailoring on that suit he wore - perfection!), the show began.

I can tell you this: every single piece was perfectly styled and had me drooling.  The accessories included many bags by Louis Vuitton, shoes by Louboutin, and bold statement jewelry like gold cuffs and jeweled necklaces.

A big thank you to Ana for our invite!

See my snapshots from the show under the cut.  Included under the photos are links to where you can purchase some of the items from the fashion show.  Warning: picture heavy post.

  6. *sigh* LOVE EVERYTHING!!! especially that leather jacket.. and those louboutin spike pumps.. and that green fendi bag.. and that metallic LV bag.. and.. forget i just love everything haha.

ok to answer your question about the shoes. i'm surprised you haven't had much luck w/ designer shoes because i generally find most designer shoes are cut more narrow then non-designer shoes. i don't have narrow feet but i do have an extremely narrow heel. i don't use inserts or insoles.. because they're made w/ synthetic materials that don't let your feet breath.. and i don't want to put them in my designer shoes.. because your feet will get sweaty haha.. the #1 reason i buy designer shoes other then because they're fabulous obviously haha is because designer shoes are always made w/ high quality leather that let your feet breath so your feet don't sweat in them. anyways the reason i love brian atwoods so much is because he puts a tiny bit of elastic at the back of the shoe where your heel goes to prevent slippage which is crucial for someone with a narrow heel like me.. but you can actually take in ANY of your shoes to a cobbler and have them put in a tiny bit of elastic in the back.. it's actually pretty common practice :) hope this helps!

  7. I'm glad you found me too! I love finding other local bloggers as well.

My favorite trend right now is all this animal print. They make for very versatile pieces that add the perfect amount of funk to any outfit.
