Oscars Roundup Part 2

I love clothes. I really do.  I mean, look at this...

Cate Blanchette in Givenchy Couture.
Unfortunately, you're looking at the best shot that one could possibly get from this dress.
Those little beads remind me of fish eggs/roe from a sushi roll :(

 Cate Blanchette in Givenchy Couture:
I can definitely appreciate the artistry and the detail work on this gown, but at the risk of being stoned by other fashion bloggers (all 1 of you that read this site) I just think that the upper half of the dress is ugly.  I mean, really ugly.  I think what really ruins it is the circle on the something supposed to go there? Are we supposed to hang a picture in that space? Use it as a canvas and draw in the space? I don't get it.
The back is cool, though.

Amy Adams in L'Wren Scott:

Amy Adams wearing L'Wren Scott!
This dress is fresh off the NY Fall Fashion week runway.
I did a feature on this beautiful collection a few weeks ago.

I love a high neck with a great necklace.
Anne Hathaway in Valentino (Arrivals):
Anne Hathaway in Valentino.
I love her!

Sandra Bullock in Vera Wang.
I don't really have much to say about this.  Is it possible for a red dress to be boring?
I think this is kind of boring.

Celine Dion wearing Armani Prive.
As my boyfriend noted: "She made a shitload of money with that song."
Yes, darling.  She did, indeed.

And she used it to buy that enormous Bulgari emerald BLING.
She really looks great. The whole look works.

 Gwyneth Paltrow in Calvin Klein:

This was such a cool dress.  I loved it.
I'm a fan of Calvin Klein's minimalistic take on gowns.
Why do I always think "Fishsticks Paltrow" when I see her? Where is that from??

Can we talk about her earrings and brooch?
Louis Vuitton high jewelery collection L'├éme du Voyage.
Reese Witherspoon in CAN DO NO WRONG Armani:

Hailee Steinfeld in Marchesa:

Halle Berry in Marchesa:

Two words: KILLED. IT.

Mandy Moore in Monique Lhuillier:

Michelle Williams in CHANEL:
She looks pretty.

Trent Reznor (?):
Cleans up nicely?

And lastly, Wolfgang Puck:
My Mother's hero.
She cannot resist him on QVC.

I didn't like Marchesa on Hallie actually. I loved Cate's dress, the beading and details is soo incredible.

Great Post :)
