OOTD: LOFT Marisa Velvet Skinny Pants + Pattern Mixing Stripes

Before I left for Kansas with my boyfriend, to spend Thanksgiving, I stopped in at my local LOFT in Miami.  If you can believe this, I had never, ever shopped at LOFT before.  This is unusual for me because I have a 9-5 that requires office attire, and a lot of my fellow ESQ's get really cute work clothes there.

I can now say that I am a happy LOFT customer and I will be back!  Most of the pieces from this outfit are LOFT and of course, my necklace, which I bought the night of the Sophie Theallet meet & greet, is from The Limited.  It has not come off since I got it! (Can't find the link to it on the site yet, though).

Today is a great day to shop LOFT because their entire they have a huge selection of sale items up to 70% off!

Shop the post below:

I had been looking for a pair of velvet pants for a little while now and the Marisa pant from LOFT solved that problem.  These are so flattering and elongating! They're true to size, lightweight and comfortable.

Although the pattern on this oversized cardigan is very busy, I think it works with the stripes on my top because the stripes are relatively spaced apart, and the shirt is not that busy.  What do you think about mixing stripes with other busy patterns?

What I'm Wearing:
LOFT Striped Cotton Tee  (Similar here50% off with code ENJOY50
LOFT Marisa Velvet Skinny Pants (velvet pant option here and here) now $44 with an extra 50% off - no code needed!
LOFT Open Front Cardigan (cannot find online) (similar)50% off with code ENJOY50
The Limited Statement Necklace (cannot find online) (almost identical necklace here, here), and similar here.
Shoes: Via Spiga (as seen here). Similar pair here & here (good sale on these).

Love the pants! I've actually been looking for a pair of red pants. I didn't see these when I got my mustard ones. But I'd been looking for a mustard pair too. The red will just have to wait.

So glad you discovered LOFT! It's one of my favorite stores. They have relatively high-quality pieces at affordable prices. And they have good sales.

I wouldn't take that necklace off either. So cute! And I LOVE the signs of autumn in this picture. We Miamians are deprived of the simple joys of having four seasons.
