To help celebrate her 25 year anniversary, Bobbi Brown has just launched the City Collection. A collection of makeup set to the tone of her three favorite cities: New York, London and Paris. In this grouping, you will find three limited edition eye and cheek palettes, with custom fashion illustrations by the artist Richard Haines, of the blog What I Saw Today. These palettes are great for traveling because they're sturdy, come with a built in hinged mirror, and maximize space (the blush tray pops out and then slides back in to the compact).
Each palette retails for $65 and contains four shadows and one blush. Get a sneak peak at this collection, below. As always, if you enjoy this content, you can follow along on my social channels. I had the privilege of going backstage at New York Fashion Week with Bobbi Brown, and filmed a video of my experience. You can watch it here.
London: The London palette is the most fun, with a navy blue shade, and a perfect peach shade, this palette exudes that cool, it-girl style. It's got a pink/peach blush that's just a notch under bubble gum pink, for the perfect matte cheek.
Paris:The deeper grays in the Paris compact are the perfect colors for obtaining both a subtle daytime smokey eye, and a dramatic look for evening. The matte black is great for lining the eyes or for smoking out the outer "v". If you want a more clean, simple look, just pair the shimmery taupe color on your lid, with some liner, and mascara. The blush in this compact is the most traditional, pink color of the collection.
In addition to the eye and cheek palettes, the City Collection also re-launches some tried and tested Bobbi Brown favorites from her long-wear gel liner and Luxe Lip Color series. Debuting again, alongside the City Collection, are three lipsticks, each representative of the three cities. Shade Bobbi is featured below (New York). Your Majesty is a deep burgundy from London, and the truest red award goes to Parisian Red. While these colors did launch last year, they're back again because you guys could not get enough of them.
