merry christmas!
I had brunch at ChillBar this weekend with a group of my fun blogger pals (Charnele, Rachelle, Gissi J). When we were done eating, we walked around an awesome open-air fresh market they've got next door. I wore my fave leopard pants from Shopbop by Sea-NYC (similar) After I bought these, I noticed a lot of other brands began making them, at more affordable price points. I have included some options after the cut.
This particular pair is versatile and they're comfortable. They have an elastic waist band (perfect for brunching and gorging on pancakes (I found a similar high end pair here, middle price point here, an under $25 pair here). They tie at the ankles for a little added design flair.
Styling leopard pants is like styling any statement piece of clothing:
+ it really depends on how you're feeling.
+ I could have paired them with a black and white striped top
+ If you're feeling less bold, you could pair them with a cute graphic tee.
+ The color gray pairs really well with the leopard color palette.
+ Try a bright red lip (I like Nars Pure Matte Lipstick in the color Mascate)
+ Because these pants are baggy, I wore a high heel to counteract the tomboyish look.
For this outfit, I was obviously not afraid of a little color and sparkle. I wore a white James Perse tee (these things are really soft, but can be pricey. I've heard a good option is the white Hanes tee's from Target). Over the white tee I wore a denim/chambray shirt from H&M. Topped the look off with a statement necklace from J.Crew Factory & my gray python booties.
What do you guys think?
