Visited Grovetoberfest this last weekend with my love. We had a great time! It was a gorgeous Miami day - blazing sun and not a cloud in the sky. We got the VIP treatment courtesy of Clique PR and made a day out of good food and great beer.
I put together some fun music / beer / food festival outfits in this post but I left out the most essential festival piece: crochet and lace knits! I wore one by Ash Rain + Oak here. I love the casual elegance that these pieces bring to the outfit table.
This particular piece is long enough to wear as tunic/dress - and that is how I was wearing it when we first got to the event, but it was so hot that I had to tie it up on the side.
Theses new bangs are proving to be really difficult...they turned into a sweaty mess. Not cute!
I finished this look off with my mom's vintage Italian necklaces and my favorite pair of Ipanema flip flops.
My necklaces are the same two that I've been layering this whole month - the JZ Initial pendant and a vintage cherub necklace. The awesome evil eye bracelet is from Taradise, Miami!
This is so cute, right? It's a pretzel necklace that was given to me by my new friend Stephanie Elise, of Stephanie Elise Designs. I met her in line while we waited for Flan beer (lol). Thanks, girl! |
The guys from Total Wine were very nice. This was the only tent I went back to.
