Recent Acquisitions: Forever 21 Mini Haul

Forever 21 has such cute pieces recently!
I stocked up on some closet staples, for cheap! 

Below is the Asymmetrical Maxi dress. This  dress is a result of the collaboration that

Forever 21 did with hip designer Rory Beca.

I really wanted to keep this.  I loved it - but it was really big on me.  I was swimming in it. 

This dress is sized as a "S/P" but I really think it fits like a medium. 

Had it fit, this would have been a new favorite of mine.

The material was a bit heavy, even though it looks light, and it was well made.

Retailed for $27.80.  This is unfortunately, going back to the store.

This is the Tiered Ruffle Dress - the color is much brighter than it appears in this picture.

(Second photo below is a better representation of the color of this dress).

I like this - it was only $12.50!  The material is thin, and the dress is fairly short (yikes), but 

it will stay in my closet because it will be a very cute layering piece for spring and summer.

I'm planning on wearing it with turquoise thong sandals.  Runs true to size.

The best buy! It's the Essential Striped Top - it's white with bright pink stripes in a boatneck style with 

3/4 length sleeves.  It's adorable and can be styled so many ways.  I already wore it to work this week w/ a black pencil skirt and blazer (pictures below).  Retails for $8.80 and is of good quality cotton.

 Chiffon and Sequin Bow Top

Can't get enough of this pretty sweater. 

 It's soft and has a black chiffon rose applique with silverish sequins

in the middle of the flower.

On the back the sweater has a black exposed 

zipper that comes down from the neck about 5 inches.

Great find at $17.80.  This looks just like the Ella Moss Kinga sweater from a 

couple of seasons ago.

Essential Double Knit Blazer (Sold out) retailed for $22.80.

A great color and cut.  Very soft but still has a professional appearance for casual work days.

I've worn this a lot this week! :) 

Here is another option for you - the Belted Career Blazer which retails for $32.80.

Rory Beca Embroidered drawstring top.  A pretty chiffon top with teal embroidery.

I plan on wearing this in the most simple way: jean cutoff shorts and bright sandals.

Runs true to size; the fit is a bit billowy with an adjustable drawstring bottom.

PS: Every girl needs a dress in this style.  Ultra flattering, on all of us.  
Even those of us who think this won't be flattering.  Try one on. Promise.

I also bought these mint skinnies which run way big (size down) and this basic taupe tank $3.80 which comes in a ton of colors (both of these pictures from forever21.com).
