I was recently approached by fellow Miami blogger, Annie of The Fashion Poet, to be part of a really phenomenally fun project: Fashion Bloggers for a Cause. Highlighting breast cancer awareness month (October), Fashion Bloggers for a Cause is a campaign that features a group of Florida bloggers wearing the same t-shirt, styled their own way. The shirt is being sold through local boutiques and online. Proceeds from the sale of the shirt benefit the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation. Information on where you can buy the shirt and for a full list of the other participants of the project, please click on the link below.
I anxiously made my way to the Shelborne Hotel on South Beach with my love in tow, where I was shot by Getty Images photographer Alexander Tamargo (@ALTAimages). He did his best to coax me out of my little lawyer shell and try to bring some fun to the shoot. I learned that I can't take direction, at all, ha!
Annie and Alex were so nice and made me feel relaxed and happy :)
The pictures from the shoot will be on display October 13th from 7-11 PM during art walk in the design district. If you're in the area, drop by!

What a great way to raise awareness, and I love how you've styled the shirt - you look so glamorous!
ReplyDeleteIt's really nice that these two go along together. Fashion and helping should be a more common thing, because fashion is probably one of the more narcissistic industries in my opinion but I'm glad that my views are starting to change towards the better. Good job you guys!
ReplyDeleteFashion of skirts very common but a good skirt took the attention of all .... really nice skirt........pretty good
